Publisher Description
The Sunshine Sisters is a moving story of love, loss and family by the bestselling author of Falling, Jane Green.
"I'm in AWE of Jane Green." Marian Keyes
It was never easy, being one of Ronni Sunshine's daughters. Publicly, she is the glamorous, successful, dramatic Hollywood actress. Privately, she is self-absorbed, angry, and a disinterested, narcissistic mother. Now in her seventies, Ronni has had strange symptoms for a while, but has refused to believe her diagnosis: she has ALS, a degenerative motor neuron disease. There is no cure.
Ronni's three adult daughters - Nell, Meredith, and Lizzy - are largely estranged, both from her, and from each other. All are going through crises of their own. But Ronni is adamant that they must come home, and help her take her own life. As their mother's illness draws them together to confront old jealousies and secret fears, they discover that blood might be thicker than water after all . . .

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
The Sunshine Sisters had us laughing so hard we received concerned looks from strangers. But in addition to being hilarious, Jane Green’s 19th novel packs a real emotional punch. The story revolves around Ronni Sunshine—a glorious literary creation. An impossibly difficult Hollywood star with ALS, Ronni convinces her three largely estranged daughters to return home and help her die. What follows is a timeless tale full of rich family drama and jet-black humour.

Wonderful book
I love the dissecting of all the relationships and then the natural way everyone is brought back together. Excellent writing and so enjoyable to read.
