Having migrated from Trinidad and Tobago atthe age of seventeen, my dreams of a positive rolemodel in society was to make a contribution in thefashion industry, perhaps. However, as a source ofincome, my journey started in the medical fi eldand is still my foundation.The Thorns and Petals of Life is a bitter-sweetjourney from my soap opera drama to seeking salvationfrom God the father. I can attest that God is watchingover me and pruning the things and people thatare not of Him from my life. Out of all of my tears,which I can now call treasures, Thank You God,I Know You For Myself, is the most pricelessexperience that can be compared to none other.I thank God for being the keeper of The Thornsand Petals of Life that have formed my characterand given birth to my destiny.I am particularly humbled when I think of HisFootprints In the Sand. Had it not been for theLord on my side where would I be? I am gladto know that so many of my decisions wereoverruled and He ordered my steps.
