The Three Hostages

John Buchan (1875-19400 was a Scottish writer and politician, a baron and the 15th Governor General Of Canada. John Buchan successfully managed to combine his potilical career and books writing. 


'The Three Hostages' is an adventure novel by John Buchan that was initially published in 1924. The story is set in Europe soon after the First World War and goes round Richard Hannay — a character which brought fame to Buchan's literary career.  This time he gets a special task — he has to solve the case of kidnapping of the three kids, whose parents are very influential.
