Set in Nineteenth-Twentieth centuries African Ashanti Empire and British Gold Coast, The Tragedies of Nana Serwaa articulates the timeless clash of the sovereigns. A 5th girl child, unprecedentedly, is heir apparent to her father’s throne to protect the centuries-enduring Berimah Dynasty.
