The Varmint

It is the school story by Owen Johnson entitled The Varmint. It is about John Stover AKA Dink, beginning with his inauspicious arrival at the Lawrenceville Prep School. Very interesting consideration of what bad boys of 100 years ago were about. This character really does improve himself.
