Publisher Description
Joseph Thomas Sheridan Le Fanu (1814 – 1873) was an Irish writer of Gothic tales and mystery novels. He was the leading ghost-story writer of the nineteenth century and was central to the development of the genre in the Victorian era. Le Fanu turned out to be rather fruitful in his writing career, as he had some methods of his own: he often used his earlier literary works to write new. Three of his best-known works are Uncle Silas, Carmilla and The House by the Churchyard.
'The Vision Of Tom Chuff' is a short story by Le Fanu that represents a bright example of his writing style featuring thrill and mystery.
