These chronicles span the early forties to the late seventies. Written in the first person, it is an autobiographical account of the humorous and philosophical experiences of protagonist Dante Benedict and those of his family and warbaby friends growing up in the forties and fifties, reaching adulthood in the sixties and settling into life in the seventies. By virtue of his babyboomer brother Alfred, four years younger, Dante was able to interact continually with this demographic group as well. As a part of his family, Alfred appears throughout this book. These chronicles have five parts. Part One covers Dante's childhood. Part Two covers his adolescence up until college. Part Three relates his college and post college experiences with his warbaby friends. Part Four concentrates on his "hippie era," his relationship with his brother Alfred and Alfred's babyboomer friends, and finally, Part Five reveals his separate adventures up until the time he settles down and gets married.
