Publisher Description
When King Werewolf shows up in veterinarian Vee Scarpa’s ER, she’s livid. Her father, North American head honcho vampire, has threatened a chilling or else if she “ accidentally” helped a wolf again, especially since they’re at war. But she’s tempted by the sexy wolf. And his deadly blood calls to her in a way that should set off warning bells...
A promise to his brother in arms obliges Lexan Dimitrov to rescue the aristocrat vampire before her family discovers her secret—a secret Vee herself isn’t even aware of. What he didn’t expect was to find her sexy-as-hell. He’s not into vamps, yet the inescapable heat building between them is a delicious temptation guaranteed to end in total disaster.
Each book in the Blood Wars series is STANDALONE:

It was ok
It was a little twisty-turny but in the end good, despite the constant up & down of the Female MCs “this relationship can’t work” mantra that seemed to change at the drop of a hat depending on whether or not she was kissing the King or not.
There were a couple of grammatical issues, Like some extra words that were more than likely just typos missed in the editing process.
The plot was fairly straightforward, though the Virus thing came out of nowhere and there were some bits and bobs about the lore of the world that seemed to be either assumed knowledge or already explained in a different book that’s a part of the same universe. Personally I believe in a little exposition (spoken, though etc.) even if is to re-explain lore in a different book in a series. It helps with context and reader understanding at least for me especially when its supposed to be important to the plot or understanding the characters it doesn’t help if everyone seems to be treating it like a secret when it is supposed to be common knowledge in universe.
