Grisham at his best
Breathtakingly slow start, slowly building to a crescendo- believable characters- incredible depth of legal research- recommended
High expectations modest delivery
I have always loved reading John Grisham’s novels but this one just didn’t do it for me. The novel didn’t quite meet my expectations. Much of the courtroom litigation felt protracted, and unlike the author’s previous works, it offered few of the intriguing factual insights that typically elevate the story.

As with all Grisham books, once again I loved it. Highly recommend.
