Not true to the much loved original story
This book was not true to the original tale of the wizard of oz. Frankly I found the beating of Dorothy with the cane by the wicked witch inappropriate and offensive and would not recommend this for any parent wanting to find a version of this book that is suitable for a 4-5 year old.
