The Wright Boss can be read as a standalone because each of these books has been about a different Wright Sibling and their partners, this is Landon and Heidi's story.
Heidi has a rule when it comes to dating "Don't date your co workers, especially your boss" , the problem is her high school crush is now her new boss and to make matters worse he is her best friends ex boyfriend and married.
Landon maybe Texas royalty but he left that all behind to become a professional golfer, he got married and moved away, but an injury and a wife who gives him nothing but grieve brings him back home and face to face with the girl he has crushed after for so many years. Will he convince Heidi to break her rule on dating and will his ex wife let him go, you will need to read the book to find that out.
This book had me right from the first chapter, the story was feasible and I didn't want to put it down til I had read the last line,I needed to know if these two loveable characters got their HEA. This book is a romantic read with plenty of passion. Heidi is a fun sassy strong girl that knows what she wants but there is also a vulnerable side to her that she lets few people see. Landon is a caring, loving male who I fell in love with. I can't wait to read about the next Wright Sibling and I hope it's Austin's story. Brilliant job K.A. Linde.
