The Fortune family series has a long and successful history and this 1st book in the new series is a fabulous continuation. Brian Fortune is happily single and living life away from his family until he visits Rambling Rose and meets Emmaline Lewis, antique shop owner and mother to be. Doubts and fears throw up roadblocks to romance but a mysterious wedding gift from someone anonymous leads Brian and Emmaline to spend more time together. This slow burn relationship and the mystery gift kept me wanting to learn more and wanting to move to Rambling Rose to knock some sense into Brian haha! Michelle’s book was the perfect start to this new series and the intriguing mystery of the wedding gift.
