When Mark lost his job, he also lost his mind, and he descends into a fantasy world of H.P.Lovecraft and Nazi aliens at the North pole. The shadows on the walls tell him that everything is false, and you can change reality just as easily as opening a door. Of course, this is all the product of a broken mind.
