Absolutely brilliant

Fantastic book, one of the best pieces of historical murder mystery fiction I've read, and my favorite so far in what is already an extraordinarily entertaining series.
For lovers of Ancient Rome, murder mysteries, historical fiction, any combination of the three, definitely a can't-miss.

Filled with historical fact and detail which is genuinely informative, the book goes beyond the traditional detective genre and brilliantly describes an amazing period in world history, whilst presenting a fantastic detective story which is surprising and thrilling until the very end.

Fantastic.
