THREE HOURS TO SAVE THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE

In rural Somerset in the middle of a blizzard, the unthinkable happens: a school is under siege.

Pupils and teachers barricade themselves into classrooms, the library, the theatre. The headmaster lies wounded in the library, unable to help his trapped students and staff. Outside, a police psychiatrist must identify the gunmen, while parents gather desperate for news.

In three intense hours, all must find the courage to stand up to evil and save the people they love.

Bingeworthy

A long time since a book captivated me so completely! Brilliant crafting of suspense and intelligent intertextual richness. The integrity of the text is in its characterisation, which is authentic and highly engaging.

Absolutely could not put it down. 10/10

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Every word counts in this book. It is readable, a real page turner, and yet profound, using consistent literary allusions and thought-provoking contemporary cultural mores. Love in all its many forms provides the foundation for the story and the many relationships throughout.
