Absolutely gorgeous holiday read
This was the first “non work” material I’ve read in months, and it was the perfect antidote to end of year, work induced, mental exhaustion. Emma’s writing is clever and warm, and I fell in love with Tilly. Although it’s decades since I was 18, I reckon there’s a little bit of Tilly in every woman who has ever followed her instincts to see where they lead her. And, huge credit for the other female lead characters who are also great role models. This is not just another Prince Charming romance (although there’s a bit of glitter in there, just for good measure).
