Great series
This second book is as interesting as the first. Although the protagonists are teenagers and a lot of time is spent on romantic issues the science fiction/time travel aspects are intriguing and the action moves smartly along so even as a 70 year old I will wait excitedly for the third book to be written. I hope Laura doesn't make us wait too long.
Lays it on a bit thick
Not nearly as interesting as the first book, and even harder to suspend disbelief. At least in the first, there was a sense of danger for the protagonist. In this book, I got sick of the social commentary on how good life is in 2015.
The love story is too sappy and intense. There's an urgency to stop something bad from happening, but that's okay we can take two chapters while the characters sit around talking about their love and trying not to act on their horny teenage desires.
