From New York Times and USAToday bestselling author, Nicole Williams, comes a new standalone romance.
The whole world might be in love with him. But all he’s ever loved is her.
Grant Turner’s name is synonymous with football. The fans and media can’t get enough of the player known as The Invincible Man, a nickname he earned while growing up in one of the toughest neighborhoods in the country and the nickname he’s kept by being one of the best players in professional football today. No one can take him down. He’s unstoppable.
But even a suit of armor has its weak point, and Grant’s has always been Ryan Hale.
They were a couple of kids when they fell in love, and just when it looked like the happy ending neither expected was within reach, Ryan disappeared. No explanations. No good-byes.
Grant coped by throwing himself into the game for seven years, and he’s finally moved on. Or so he thinks.
When she walks back into his life, all of those feelings come crashing back, despite the warnings in his head that tell him she’ll leave him again. Turner can withstand the league’s toughest defensive line, but he’s always been weak where she’s concerned.
No man can take Grant Turner down.
But one woman certainly can.
One woman will.
Good read, I would read again. Good characters and believable story line.
2nd time I have read this and better this time❤️
Oh my mr Turner
This book is not just your typical sports romance , it's so much more . I wish there was a Grant Turner on every corner . His love, devotion and pure determination is something else . He has a beautiful soul that was perfect for Ryan .
This story was heartbreaking at times but so beautiful too .
I really enjoyed this book , have read it over a few times . The writer did an awesome job. Great characters, and story was believable . Definitely a must read
This is not your typical sports romance
Oh there is sport and love and money and frame but there is so much more to the story. Its not your typical romance story, young people meet + fall in love + something tears them apart = and they make it back together Yah!
This is something special and touching and when you think it should be entertaining and making you feel good about life it makes you realise you need to just live and be happy.
