Best series I've read in the last 5 years
The atmosphere of this book is so enticing, I want to immerse
myself in this world. Good characters with shades and much to be discovered.
This book itches at your patience
The other heroine in this book has a terrible sense of moral and responsibility. She comes asking for help yet tries her best to trick and misleads her helpers. All she cares about is herself and how much she loves her man.
The protagonist is simply stupid and annoying with her thirst for vengeance.
The book drags on so much it does my head in. I always really really liked books by Marillier, but this time it’s bad. One can compare it to a big thick chocolate mud cake with rich salted caramel topping that one has to finished after having filled up 99% of the stomach.
Fantastic second book
As always Juliet has written as fantastic second instalment. Easy to read and did not want to put it down but as always did not want the book to end. I'll look forward to the next book by Juliet.
