Publisher Description
INTRODUCTION Drawing from various photographic studies and interviews, this article provides a critical comparison between the architecture of border cities in the U.S. Southwest and those on northwest Mexico's northern limit. The discussion also describes the imaginary constructions that border inhabitants create based on the built environment that surrounds them, constructions that come to us from interviews conducted with local residents.
