Bitter Moon Saga: Book Four
From the moment Torrant Shadow realized Consort Rath murdered his family, he's lived a dual identity: a healer and poet by nature, a predator out of necessity. It's not just exhausting, it's perilous.
In the deadly city of Dueance, Torrant must succeed in both lives, because while the predator may save the Goddess's folk from Rath's brutal policies, it is the poet who will sway the minds of the people to revolt against the oppressive government. As his cause falters, Torrant finds his worst nightmares come to pass as the people he loves most—his family from Eiran, his former lovers, and his moon-destined, Yarri—all come to his aid, despite the danger.
They must succeed—there is no other option. If they fail, Rath will eliminate joy from the heart of the lands of the three moons, and all that Torrant and his family cherish will be lost. But success could exact devastating cost, one Triane's Son was never prepared to pay.

Triane’s Son
I cried. I cried when reading this book. These strong, honourable men and women who love each other in all the various types of love that there are. Love for a fellow human being, love for family, love for friends, love for a friend/lover and love for a beloved.
This saga in about people who would rid the world of others who think or act a little differently than some would like. This kind of thinking turns to hate and hurtful, or worse, actions. Along comes a young man whose convictions of right and wrong gather a group of like-minded family and friends to set these bad things to rights.
This saga is not just for young adults; my young adulthood years are many, many years behind me and this story is as raw, honest, strong and emotionally open as any ‘adult’ book I’ve ever read. There is no dumbing down or smoothing over or leaving unpleasant details out. Instead, the words speak with a truth of what could happen if small minded people gain enough power to convince more and more small minded people to act against those of a loving disposition.
I cried for Torrant, Yarri, Aylan, Aldam, Lane, Bethy and ALL Torrant’s friends and loved-ones. I also cheered them on and loved letting them live with me and live in my heart.
Amy Lane, you are my spirit guide.
