Turkish Syndrome (EN "Utrinski Vesnik"‪)‬

Is Macedonia Becoming an Everlasting Candidate for Entry to EU? Is Macedonia getting infected by the Turkish syndrome of an everlasting candidate and several-decades long negotiator with the European Union for full membership? We are slowly entering the sixth year of the candidacy written down only on paper, and there is not a trace, or any other hint for starting negotiations with Brussels. Completely the opposite; the pressure on Macedonia for making concessions and for accepting a change in its constitutional name with a geographic suffix is reinforced. The matters with NATO are also standing still. The time factor is becoming fatal for the future of Macedonia and only this moment reminds of the Turkish complicated case. Everything else is completely different and cannot be compared with Turkey.
