Publisher Description

Plaintiff Curtis v. Uhler filed his complaint in the District Court for the Thirteenth Judicial District in Yellowstone County on June 1, 1992. He alleged that during 1989, defendant Jon E. Doak, an attorney, had performed legal services for him negligently, and that as a result, he sustained damages. Doak moved for dismissal of the complaint by summary judgment based on his contention that it was barred by the statute of limitations found at § 27-2-206, MCA. The District Court granted Doaks motion and Uhler appeals. We reverse the judgment of the District Court.
