Interesting post apocalyptic drama and the start of a series.
Sloane is a mother of two and has an abusive husband when a tsunami hits the shores of Oregon and floods the area where she lives. Neighbours decide to leave the area and her husband tries to steal the only viable car but is shot and killed by them. Sloane decides to start a campaign of deception, acting as though her three neighbouring properties are still tenanted, she moves lights and garden furniture around and houses stray dogs in the empty homes. FEMA personnel try to force her and the girls into a government compound and they are forced to flee.
