From Australian author Juanita Kees, the second book in the Under the Law rural romantic suspense series.
There's more to TJ Stevens than miniskirts and stiletto heels. She runs an apprenticeship rehabilitation program for young offenders, and she'll go to dangerous lengths to protect the teenagers in her care. Her sexy new boss is a threat to everything she's worked hard to achieve. Is he enemy or ally?
When Scott Devin buys a struggling car dealership in semi-rural Western Australia, the last thing he expects to find is trouble in the form of the alluring TJ. But when danger strikes close to home, he knows it will be hard to keep her safe if he holds her at arms-length.
Another great read who needs sleep when you can finish great stories instead
Lost in a book = bliss
I’m loving this series already & not even finish the second book! It ticks all the boxes for me.....escaping into the scenery of the Aussie countryside, hearing the sounds from afar in my mind, varying characters who could be your neighbors for real in rural settings as they are humanly portraid, stories that blend together with a common theme in each novel & of course the delightful bumpy road of romance. Each story isn’t long & drawn out but the suspense is still there enough to keep turning the pages. I love how Juanita writes. There is Alonso another series she has written at Wongan Creek on my TBR list. Oh dear I’m hooked!!
