United States V. Beck

Defendant-Appellant ("appellant") was convicted at a jury trial in district court of violating the Hobbs Act, 18 U.S.C. § 1951 (1970),*fn1 and the bank theft statute, 18 U.S.C. §§ 2, 2113(b) (1970).*fn2 The district judge sentenced appellant to concurrent prison terms of twenty and ten years on the Hobbs Act and bank theft convictions, respectively.
