Manchester Medical School is proud of its reputation as an innovator in Medical Education. The School is currently using technology to transform how education is delivered in the undergraduate programme for medicine (MBChB) by utilising a range of technologies, including Apple products. The introduction of iPads for our clinical students has been transformational - it has given the school the opportunity to provide students with high quality resources that are available ‘at the point of learning’, with patients and tutors in a geographically distributed learning environment.


This book describes how we have leveraged the technology to augment and redefine our educational processes to enhance the student experience and become an Apple Distinguished Programme.
