War's raging and the slums have become a target of all the forces of Feralon. Finely is dodging patrols and looking for a place to wait out the storm, but while playing hide-and-seek with aggressive Beastkin, Finley encounters the last person he expected to. It has been weeks since he helped the hurt Wolfkin. He thought he would never see the other male again, but now, running into him while being pursued by others, he can't help but fear that it isn't a thank-you for the helping hand the Beastkin is offering.
