Up the organization
My father bought this book and I first read it as a teenager.
I have made a point of reading it every couple of years since and every time I have lent a copy to a friend I have never got it back!
It is well written, concise and it's basic concept of "if you are not here for fun and profit why are you here" is a great business model.
I have tried to be faithful to the great advice in this book which is as relevant now as it was in the seventies the truth doesn't change.
This book got me sacked once which turned out be the best thing that ever happened and set me up for the successful career I've just retired from.
I have never come across another "management" book that has come close buy it, read it, act on it and enjoy the fun that results.
