For the first time I wasn’t engaged
I love this series and countdown to the next release impatiently every time. I own and re-read every book about once a year.
This book just had a bit of sameness to it. A similar plot line, repetitious dialogue with Nadine & Mira and for the first time about half way I’d predicted how the finale would play out.
There was not a lot of extended character development this time that I usually enjoy which was disappointing.
Still a great book, I just wasn’t as engaged this time.
