As the blizzard rages across the Slovenian Alps and the village slowly sinks into despair, Gaja sets out on a journey through snow, ice, and dark fir forests where — according to old tales — ancient forces of nature still rule.

But the mountain does not reveal its secrets to everyone. Only to the chosen.

To awaken Vesna, Gaja must find a mountain spring hidden deep among the rocks before the first sunrise. And somewhere between the snow, the wind, and the silence of the harsh mountains waits something far more terrifying than winter itself. For the mountains give nothing freely — they always demand something in return.
