Captivating
Maggie’s story was a lovely intro into the jasper falls series - a lot of cameos from our beloved mountain neighbours but enough of its own characters to stand on its own! Maggie and Ryan’s story shows what can happen when fate intervenes at the right time and right place! It wasn’t an easy ride and I think The writing of Maggie’s turmoils with the grieving process, depression and anxiety was done particularly well!
This story has a beautiful HEA although I would have loved to see a little more before the epilogue. Very keen to read to next in this series.
Awake up call
As my soul opinion, this is probably one of the best romance books I've read so far. It's a bit of awake up call to anyone who has been in a similar tragic situation from the beginning but afraid to push past the stale reality to see what could be on the other side. It hits home quiet often but also paths a path for one to move forward. It's light, yet steamy & definitely funny in parts, that I laughed so much I had tears. It maybe fiction & not a read for all but I believe a person can take what they can out of a good read & have hope.
