Publisher Description
Byline: Fred Sullivan As that immortal philosopher, Yogi Berra said, it was deja vu all over again last Saturday when the Bernardians of St. Bernard's High met the Tantasqua Warriors in Harrington Auditorium on the campus of WPI. Brian Vayda and his cohorts Ryan White, Marcus Gaudet and Dan Kemp were just a little better than St. Bernard's, 63-62, and so the Warriors have a very solid chance to defend their Division II State Championship at the DCU Center this Saturday. The similarity between the two contests played nearly one year apart was almost eerie. Instead of sportswriters, they should have sent Edgar Allen Poe to cover this game. That was certainly true from the St. Bernard's point of view.
