What I Never Lost tells the story of two different American girls who grew up in New York City and Los Angeles. They both live with their relatives and are the only source of joy for them.
Natasha Sullivan is a hot-headed, no-nonsense, beautiful young lady who lives with her uncle, Harry Sullivan. Natasha hated bullying and any form of oppression and tried to save as many people from it as possible. She gets into a scuffle with Melissa, the principal's daughter of her new school. Melissa is the resident bully at her school and does whatever she wants because her mom was the principal. Melissa always gets away with her actions as she plays the victim whenever her fellow students report her. Natasha uses Melissa's methods against her by playing the victim after toppling Melissa.
Charlotte McKenzie is a cool, calm, collected, and half-caste young lady. She is calm and believes too much in peace and serenity. Her aunt, Claire worries about her because the world is a harsh place. Aunt Claire always stands up for Charlotte and has done so since she was a child. Aunt Claire realizes that she cannot stand up for Charlotte forever because she eventually has to go to college.
The two girls get a scholarship to study at the American University Of Paris, a long-time dream of theirs. They see each other in school but don't like each other's personalities. However, fate would cause their paths to cross when they save a professor from a robbery outside the school Café.
