THE WAY OF THE TIGRESS, in series order
Jade Lee, a USA Today bestseller, has two passions (well, except for
her family, but that's a given). She loves dreaming up stories and playing
racquetball, not always in that order. When her pro-racquetball career ended
with a pair of very bad knees, she turned her attention to writing. An
author of more than 30 romance novels, she's decided that life can be full
of joy without ever getting up from her chair.

About a sexual form of Tau philosophy.
Set in old China,Lydia arrives in Shanghai only to be tricked drugged and sold into slavery in a brothel.
Ru Shan is told by his Tau Tigress teacher to buy the chained white slave, make her his pet, and balance his yang with her yin.
When Lydia is promised to keep her virginity, and eventually be given her freedom, as long as she cooperates, she is gradually introduced to the Tau practices. What concerns her is that she is enjoying it.
She escapes only to be rejected by her fiancé, as well as the British ex-pat community.
Marriage to Ru Shan seems like a solution, only to discover he has a totally screwed up family including a first wife, who is his father's lover, that he was married to at 8 years old.
Interesting Tau exercises and physical feelings explored and explained in great detail.
Can't be put down!
An intriguing story that quickly reels you in, until you find yourself struggling to keep your eyes open at 4 in the morning just to read "to the end of this chapter". A surprising joy to read, elegant and well written with engaging characters that suck you into the scene so cleverly described by a wonderfully imaginative author.
