Alice
I didn’t mean for the whole wedding party to see me skinny dipping.
That’s how I met Jonah, my new, way too hot for my sanity neighbor.
Jonah
I came to Alaska to escape. I prefer to leave tragedy behind and don’t need anyone reminding me I’m a hero. I’m not. I’m damaged goods and not in the market for romance.
Alice is beyond distracting, and I can’t avoid her. My grandmother thinks we’re fated for each other. While I’m busy trying to ignore my grandmother’s matchmaking, I make the mistake of kissing Alice. My willpower burns to the ground in a matter of seconds.
Jonah & Alice’s story is perfect for readers who love small town romance, hotshot firefighters, smart & sassy heroines, nosy friends and relatives, slow burn, emotional romance with a dash of angst, oozing with swoon, and one smokin’ hot broody hero.
*A full-length, standalone romance.

Alice and Jonah
I love all the stories set in Willow Brook, Alaska. It seems to be a magical location where damaged souls find their other half. This story sees Alice, return home after years away, meet Jonah, whose Grandma lives next door, and find love. The story is witty, steamy and touching, there are sensitive topics broached but all of it is done with small town love and typical nosey relatives and friends.
Loved it
Having read the previous books in the series I could not wait to read With Every Breath. It was great to be back in Willow Brook, Alaska and this time it is Alice and Jonah who are in the spotlight.
I really liked both veterinarian Alice and firefighter Jonah, he is totally swoon worthy and I liked how feisty, sassy and independent Alice was. Both have experienced tragedy in their lives and I really felt for them; now Willow Brook is the chance for them both to start again. This was an emotional, slow burn, well written story and was a great addition to the series and it got to me on a number of levels.
The writing is descriptive and I could easily see myself in picturesque Willow Brook, Alaska, maybe because I have always wanted to visit Alaska. The connection between Alice and Jonah was strong, their banter witty and I loved how supportive they were of one another and what they have been through.
