Wolf and the Dove
I read this book many years ago and loved it. I have just finished reading it again for what must be the 10th time and enjoyed it once again. I love the story, the characters, the era and the detail in the telling. It is a rollicking tale full of love, hate, betrayal, anger, jealousy and most of all it is easy to read.
Rape does not equal romance
Woman is raped by conquers, senior lord arrives and claims her. Although burgeoning attraction he rapes her and she’s still attracted to him. Sickening BS
