Way to go Lee Burrows! I loved this book! I could not put it down.
I loved this book and could not put this down. I loved this continuation of Lee Burrows’ and Shayna Kudrow’s story eight years after they met at the University of Michigan at the San Francisco Kingsmen.
This book was sad, funny and inspiring! Thank you Piper and Rayne for writing two brilliant characters. Shayna reminds me of myself and it brought up memories some good and bad. I loved how Lee Burrows apologised to Shayna stood up for her! Way to go Lee Burrows - you are a keeper!
Great start to a new series
You Had Your Chance, Lee Burrows is book one in the new Kingsman Football Stars Series and I have to say If this book is anything to go by the talented writing duo of Piper Rayne will certainly have another hit series on their hands. This is Lee Burrows and Shayna Kudrow’s second chance at love. Lee and Shayna had a brief relationship when they were in college and it didn’t end well so how are they going to feel when they come face to face when Shayna starts her job at the Kingsman Football Team which is the team Lee is the starting quarterback for….. This couple shouldn’t work but somehow they do, the banter is witty and at times hilarious, the chemistry is sizzling and off the charts and once they realised their feelings for each other they knew exactly what needed to be done to make it work. I loved everything about this book, I was drawn in from the first few pages, I was captivated by not only Lee and Shayna but also the rest of the Kingsman players which had left me excited for what’s to come. A wonderful start to a new series.

The first book in the Kingsmen Football Stars series is off to a fantastic start with Lee Burrows story. Honestly this is a roller coaster of a book, where Shayna, the one that got away, starts a new job with the Kingsmem football team! Lee is the star quarterback and cannot believe he sees her again! However Shayna is reluctant around Lee due to the past and what happened between them! Can these two get along or will the past come back with a vengeance?! No spoilers as you have to read it for yourself!
I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of this book and cannot wait for more of the series! I highly recommend you one click!
