It all started with faulty elevator - and a love letter...
Writer Becca Thorne needs an idea - fast! She might have a huge bestseller to her name but, with the deadline for book two approaching, Becca knows she's in danger of losing the career she cares so much about. But Fate has other plans for her when she almost plummets to her death with two strangers in a faulty elevator.
Although Becca emerges in one piece, her precious vintage handbag doesn't, and that's when she realises that inspiration has been with her all along. Hidden inside the bag's now-torn lining is a set of beautiful love letters.
It might not be her story, yet Becca can't seem to get the romantic words out of her head and feels compelled to discover who wrote the letters. APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
When the author of the hilarious Destination Love series returned with a rom-com we knew it was guaranteed to be a laugh-out-loud journey and Jo Watson didn’t disappoint. Beginning with the hijinks of a faulty elevator, this comedy is packed with face-palm moments as our heroine Becca Thorne attempts to find the author of love letters found in the lining of her vintage handbag (which did not survive the broken elevator). Becca is desperate to write a second novel, could this be the story she’s been searching for? It seems she’s willing to risk plagiarism—and even the law—to find out. If you’re looking for a novel that’s a little outrageous but sweet at its centre, this is the read for you.
Heart Touching Story
I love this story so much! It's one of those heart touching story!
One of the most enjoyable books I’ve ever read!! Lots of laughs and a few tears. Highly recommend.
Entertaining, but without suprise
I like this author a lot and think she has honest talent. This book was entertaining and kept me reading. The characters were interesting and some parts made me laugh out loud. However, there is nothing to surprise you. I did find myself knowing what was about to happen before it happened, which meant it wasn’t particularly exciting. I also think that the characters needed something more between them than just lust- or physical attraction. Jo does this well in her destination love series. Still worth a buy though.
