Former Navy SEAL and NCIS agent, Jim Slade is now living the good life in the Florida Keys as a private detective. His small firm of two employs himself and a very ambitious and equally attractive Bree Willows. Her drive to succeed is matched by his desire to womanize, play golf and have the, more than occasional, adult beverage.


Slade is unwilling to work with the local law enforcement officers and would rather keep to himself and his Country Club of choice. That is until a young local girl is found dead. She has no family and no one to make it right other than Jim Slade.


Unsure of why he behaves as he does, Bree Willows watches as Slade puts aside his personal feeling and dives into the case for the sole purpose of making things right.


She sees another side of the hardcore facade and likes the professional investigator underneath. With her help they work the case from angles neither expect.
