Nine Words from Jesus : A Manifesto of Hope to Thrive in the Present and Prevail in the Future

What are you willing to cry out for?

Bartimaeus knew Jesus was his only hope for healing, for a better life. So even as the crowd jostled him, scolded him, told him to be quiet, he unleashed a desperate plea and shouted louder. This time Jesus stopped and said nine words that changed the trajectory of his life—and will change yours: "What do you want me to do for you?"

Unpacking this unforgettable encounter between Bartimaeus and Jesus with his unique humor, storytelling, and fist-pumping motivation, Chuck E. Tate shows how it can also be your story. Revealing faith-building biblical truth and wisdom, he shows how to overcome obstacles to boldly approach God; rise above resistance to receive from God; dream big and believe in God for the impossible; and move from desperately calling for Jesus to passionately following Him.

God always does exceedingly more than we can ask or imagine. So go ahead and shout—and receive all he has for you.
