Debitum: What Is Your Price? (Unabridged‪)‬

New nonprofit attorney Jessica Rouge faces a momentous decision: declare bankruptcy or participate in a scam that could solve her monetary predicament. All throughout her life, Jess worked hard to get ahead and leave her abusive childhood in the past. She moved to Los Angeles, put herself through law school, passed the bar exam, and finally started her career working her dream job helping the indigent. Still, everything comes crashing down when Jess cannot cover her high-interest student loans and afford to live in high-cost Los Angeles.  

While searching for a new job, Jess meets Kevin, a mysterious wealthy attorney, who earns outsized fees as a “fixer”. Kevin offers Jess a solution: $90,000 for her participation in a vengeance-plot closing down an A-lister’s restaurant.

Walking the blurred line between her morals and her desire to continue helping the indigent, Jess faces one chilling question: Is she willing to put it all on the line and risk losing her license, reputation, and jail time?
