24 Hours of Le Mans 2017

Take a look back at the 85th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, am event which brings together endurance racing professionals from all over the world, in a typically unpredictable race.


This year was no exception. With the Audi team’s withdrawal from endurance racing at the end of 2016, the LMP1 Hybrid category was represented by Porsche and Toyota, with the Toyota team aiming to overcome its last lap misery in 2016, fielding three cars for the 2017 race.


And with an upgraded LMP2 spec for this year, including a more powerful motor, this was going to be a race with faster lap times and battles throughout the field.  The GTE category would provide close racing right up to the final lap - but no spoilers….
