Brock Stanton and Lily Mayweather were childhood sweethearts, but Lily went off to college and never returned, breaking Brock’s heart. She never intended to come back to Copper Creek, Texas, population three thousand, not for a visit, not unless she absolutely had to. The only reason she’d come back would be family.
