We're passionate about every volunteer project in our guides. We've been there and witnessed the positive impact they are having on the environments and communities they serve. They are grassroots organizations as barefoot as we are: firmly rooted in the life, struggle and challenges around them. And they all need you - not just your money. We've focused on free and near-free projects because giving from the heart shouldn't cost a fortune or require an expensive placement agency. 


Not every adventure we describe will be right for you, nor will you be right for every adventure we describe. But somewhere sandwiched between the orphanages and animal rescues, just before a rural public health program and right after a women's co-op, there is a project that can show you just how extraordinary you can be.
