Adam Anderson is a pseudonym for a former Swedish journalist, now living above Praía do Norte in the small village of Sítio da Nazaré, Portugal, watching the largest waves of the world. The Guinness record of the largest wave ever surfed so far was set at this beach in November 8, 2017. Surfer: Rodrigo Koxa, Brazil. Wave height: 24,38 m. But on October 29, 2020, a young guy, born in Nazaré 18 years ago, who started surfing four years old, António Laureano, claims to have ridden a 30,90 m wave. The staff of Guinness World Records is still analyzing the videos.
