Caleb was on his feet in seconds and pulling her up against him.

"Do you even have to ask me that question, wicked woman?" he growled.

Lily laughed, a laugh that was gently interrupted by a loving kiss. That kiss did not stay gentle after a short while. As anticipated, the spark came and took control of them.
