Publisher Description

The academic focus of Fermi’s Universe – A Cosmological Paradox is on natural science and astronomy. In this book, we work with our understanding of the world, the solar system and the rest of the universe. Various aspects of astronomy such as stars, planets, moons and the basics of the Big Bang theory are presented as well as ongoing instruction about the solar system's structure and the enormous distances that are involved in the solar system and the universe. In addition, the reader is also introduced to the Fermi paradox and the possibilities of life in the solar system and the rest of the universe.

The tasks the reader will be working on include producing a model of the solar system to scale and investigating the cosmological views of various peoples and religions.

Fermi’s Universe – A Cosmological Paradox is designed to be used in high school, upper secondary school and adult education.
