Georgia Dicks portfolio, The best bit of the collection.Glorifying the Ugly, taking what society deems as being ugly and unwanted and making it into something beautiful and desired. I have achieved this through taking images and drawings of things seen as being ‘ugly’ and putting them into a place or in a style, which makes them, look ‘beautiful’. From this concept I have made a collection of 6 outfits, taking inspiration for the silhouettes from bin bags, the creasing of the bag and the shape, juxtaposing the ‘normal’ by making garments backwards.
