Glasgow: A city guide for long weekenders

Daniel Defoe visited the city of Glasgow in the 18th Century, and later, in his book 'A Tour Thro' the Whole Island of Great Britain,' he described it as 'the cleanest and beautifulest, and best built city in Britain, London excepted.'
